Syros, Project meeting ‘FIREMED: Innovative financial instruments to support energy sector SMEs in MED area’

KiNNO Consultants Ltd. contributed in the project meeting held by the Cyclades Chamber of Commerce on the 2nd and 3rd of April 2014 at Syros, Greece, as external expert of the Chamber in the framework of the project “FIREMED: Innovative financial instruments to support energy sector SMEs in MED area”.

The 13 FIREMED project partners aim at assisting Energy Sector SMEs in the Mediterranean Region by proposing innovative financial instruments, innovative services and improving matching between SMEs need of finance, and the investors seeking of strategic investments.

KiNNO Consultants Ltd. is mainly responsible for the following:

• Report on existing financial services in all project areas
• Elaboration of a list of 5 innovative financial services & tools and 3 financial schemes to support energy sector SMEs
• Implementation of pilot activities addressed to energy sector SMEs
• Monitoring and evaluation of pilot activities
• Selection of the criteria to develop project sustainability plan
