Benefits of knowledge transfer for society: The Better World Project

The Association of University Technology Managers (AUTM) launched The Better World Project in 2005, which promotes the public understanding of how academic research and technology transfer benefit society as a whole.

The public sector is a main contributor to the funding of academic research and it is important that it is informed on how this research contributes to society and the role of technology transfer therein. The project draws from years of case studies and news from AUTM's members.
