In order to support and promote the Greek ecosystem of High Tech companies, the Hellenic Emerging Technologies Industry Association - HETIA has designed and is implementing the Smart Energy & Smart City workshop, which will be held in Athens on Thursday, September 27, 2018.
HETiA is an association of companies and research structures with the aim to support and promote the Greek ecosystem of High Technology companies, through the promotion of financial tools for this sector, the reinforcement of extroversion (participation in company missions, international tech exhibitions and forums), networking of members with other agencies operating in Greece, exchanging experience and know-how among its members and generally promoting and encouraging initiatives which are key components for the implementation of outsourcing and development strategies for its members.
The Smart Energy & Smart City workshop is an event where Greek technology companies will present their achievements and their added value for the global market in the following areas:
(1) Digitization of Energy
(2) Smart Cities
The purpose of the event, in line with the goals of HETIA, is to highlight innovative Greek companies that produce high added value technologies, which are based in Greece and have clients in big markets abroad (USA, Europe, Asia). These companies employ high-level scientific personnel potential and act as a counter-force to the «brain drain».
