"Medibtikar" - EuroMed
The Medibtikar project (http://www.medibtikar.eu/-why-cooperate-with-medibtikar-.html) will provide the MEDA countries with new and improved instruments to stimulate innovation at the firm and country levels. The project will also simulate networking across the MEDA region, and between the region.
The main objectives are to encourage good practice in technology and knowledge transfer by administrations, enterprises, industry federations, chambers of commerce, etc. and to support the creation and/or improvement of intermediary organizations in charge.
The beneficiary countries are: Algeria, Egypt, Israel, Jordan, Lebanon, Morocco, Syria, the Palestinian Authority, Tunisia and Turkey. The final beneficiaries are the Mediterranean public and private enterprises which require appropriate infrastructures that support innovation and technology in accordance with the specific needs of SMEs.

- Innovation Management and IPR negotiations:
KiNNO Consultants LTD. will organise the training seminars and deliver the studies for local stakeholders and SMEs.
- RIS - Regional Innovation Strategy:
Medibtikar programme has also provided assistance through its Technical Assistances to Turkish Regional Authorities and other MEDA policy makers, in the training of their employees and other related national organisation in view of conceiving, organising and implementing regional innovation strategies, in compliance with the National Innovation Strategy, the EU guidelines and the philosophy of the Lisbon agenda. This has been part of the process of improving innovation policy in order to help create synergies between the EU-national and regional level and help policy design toward increasing national competitiveness. KiNNO Consultants LTD. has been involved in the implementation of the RIS Workshops.
