Athens, Winners of Greek KICkoff 2016 Competition

The Greek Regional Final of the KICkoff 2016 competition, was successfully completed on the 15th of July 2016 at the premises of orange grove where 9 finalists presented their business ideas in front of the jury of the competition and the audience.

A considerable number of applications were evaluated, before these 9 teams were selected, which had the opportunity to attend a two-day preparatory workshop. During this workshop every team worked closely with expert coaches and a mentor on the presentation of their idea.

The winning ideas were “Drywall Integrated Supercapacitors” proposed by Pleione Energy and “Solar Energy in Building Heating and Cooling” proposed by Lighthouse Solar.

The 2 winners will have the opportunity to compete in the European Finals of the competition on September 20 in Warsaw, with competitors from other European South-East Countries.
