KiNNO is currently looking for a Financial Coordinator, with both strong analytical and soft skills.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Financial management of EU projects (Horizon EU, ENI, Interreg, LIFE, Innovation Fund; National projects – GSRI; grants)

-    Preparing and submitting project financial reports on a regular basis

-    Supporting the auditing processes

-    Planning, allocating and reporting appropriately the resources and related costs (timesheets, staff costs and projects’ subcontracts)

-    Monitoring the budgets of EU grants, national grants and service contracts

-    Supporting our project managers and the customers in the proposal budgeting phase

-    Supporting the preparation of grant agreements and amendments

  • Financial Management of the company

-    Forecasting/counselling and informing MD and Operations Coordinator on KPIs, revenue projections and expenditures’ forecast

-    Monitoring the accounting operations of the company, in collaboration with the external accountants (Monthly Costs, Revenues, Cash Flow, Billing)

-    Coordinating Revenue & Expenses Planning, Invoicing and Payments

-    Preparing Financial Statements and ensuring company’s clearance


  • 3+ years progressive experience in financial reporting in multi-party consortium projects and deep knowledge on EU projects’ financial rules (mainly Horizon 2020, Horizon Europe, Interreg specifics)
  • Knowledge within Greek finance and accounting practices and systems
  • Experience in other public funding instruments is a plus (National funds)
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting or Economics
  • Outstanding financial and analytical skills
  • Excellent knowledge of English (certified)
  • Ability to meet deadlines, work independently, and be detail-oriented
  • Anticipate the needs of management and operation functions and complete assigned tasks with a high degree of accuracy with minimal direction
