INNOVATION CONSULTANT

KiNNO is currently looking for a full-time European Projects Innovation Consultant, for effectively managing the implementation and successfully delivering large-scale, complex projects field of innovation ecosystems’ building and scaling of cutting edge industry-specific content: sustainable energy; clean tech, sustainable innovations.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Manage and carry out tasks associated with projects in the field of innovation ecosystems’ building and scaling of cutting edge industry-specific content: sustainable energy; clean tech, sustainable innovations. Tasks include, but not limit to, preparing and examining deliverables, project outputs, services, and reports that meet quality targets and standards.
  • Conduct communication, dissemination and outreach activities, including organizing events, coordinating focus groups, and executing communication initiatives, etc.
  • Effectively communicate both within the company and with external partners of the innovation ecosystem such as academic institutions, researchers, freelance professionals, SMEs and industrial stakeholders, public authorities and institutions.
  • Perform daily project management tasks, including but not limited to tracking deadlines, managing costs, planning time schedules, and supporting the allocation of resources effectively.
  • Assess potential risks, prioritize and evaluate significance and impact, as well as promptly report to business unit management, while offering potential solutions for resolution.

Basic Requirements:

  • 2+ years of professional experience in  EU project design, implementation and management (H2020/Horizon Europe CSAs, Interreg MED, ENI CBC MED etc.) focusing on innovation, entrepreneurship, business support, technology transfer
  • Proven record in successful implementation of EU projects.
  • BSc in a relative theme: Innovation, Entrepreneurship, Engineering, Business Administration
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
  • Availability for short travels / meetings in Greece and abroad

Desirable Qualifications:

  • Postgraduate degree in a relative theme: Innovation, Entrepreneurship, Engineering, Business Administration
  • Experience in the whole life cycle of a project : from the idea generation and opportunity identification; conceptualization, proposal design and partnership development
  • Extensive knowledge and understanding of EU policy, priorities and trends with regards to innovation ecosystems building and scaling, sustainable energy, clean tech, sustainable innovations
  • Proven record of successful development of relevant EU funded projects in the aforementioned fields will be considered an asset
  • Good knowledge in Public Tenders and Procedures: Bidding, submission and management of tenders
