KiNNO is currently looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Financial Operations Coordinator with both strong analytical and soft skills.

As a Financial Operations Coordinator, you will be responsible for a range of finance and accounting duties, playing a pivotal part in managing our company's financial health and strategic planning. Your expertise in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis will be invaluable to our team.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate the finance function: Responsibility for Company’s budget monitoring and controlling (incl. Revenue, OpEx, CapEx). Manage cash flow and prepare financial reports for senior management. Manage the production of management reports/assessments, forecasting of financial performance against budgeted financial and operational goals. Provide timely and accurate analysis of budgets, risk assessment for the business financial reports and financial trends to assist Business Leadership in decision-making processes. Managing certain tax and other regulatory reporting (financial audits & financial statements).
  • Develop and implement effective financial planning, budgeting and forecasting process: Creating variance analysis reports and developing excel-based complex financial models; Gathering necessary financial and non-financial information from different departments and budget owners in order to draft an accurate and realistic financial plan; Monitoring real-time financial performance, escalating any financial issues to management, and being actively involved in financial controlling processes.
  • Conduct regular financial data analysis to identify trends, challenges, and opportunities & Interpretation: Having advanced understanding of the accounting treatment of business transactions reported in Financial Statements. Grants Strategy Development in collaboration with Grants Management members.
    • Conduct accounting entries and monitoring: Ensure accurate and timely recording of financial transactions and maintain proper documentation. Coordination & collaboration with the external accounting team.
    • Coordinate Budgeting and Payments: Coordinate budget preparation and management, as well as payment processes. Track and analyze operational expenses, identifying cost-saving opportunities.
  • KPIs Monitoring: Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and monitor performance against targets. Crucial role in advising the organization’s management in making informed financial decisions and achieve its fiscal objectives and strategic planning.
    • Manage Banks Relations: Manage relationships with banks, including handling loans, guarantees, and other financial arrangements.
    • Contracts/Deals Setup: Support in the setup and management of contracts and deals, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
    • Support in Digital Transformation: Collaborate with team members to drive the digital transformation of our accounting and financial systems, leveraging technology to improve efficiency and accuracy.
  • Compliance & Risk Management: Ensure all accounting & financial activities comply with relevant EU and national regulations. Identify and mitigate potential risks associated with accounting & financial management. Manage relevant internal processes, risk management, control systems and reporting tools.


  • At least 5 years progressive experience in finance and accounting roles, preferably in a consulting or professional services environment.
  • BSc or MSc Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics.
  • Excellent knowledge of English (certified).

Additional Requirements:

  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in financial modeling and analysis.
  • Familiarity with accounting software and ERP systems. Experience in SoftOne is a plus.
  • Experience in EU Projects/Grants management is a plus.
  • Experience with digital transformation initiatives is a plus.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Willingness to travel as required for project needs.
