We are excited to announce the outcome of the fuTOURiSME open call, co-funded by the European Union. Following a thorough evaluation, 60 innovative projects out of a pool of 381 applications by tourism SMEs from Greece, Italy, Spain, France, and Cyprus, have been selected to receive a €30,000 lump sum each to support their twin transition towards digital transformation and sustainability.
KiNNO, the Lead Partner, expresses gratitude to all participants for their interest and appreciates the efforts of the project consortium.
A wide range of innovative solutions has been proposed to support the digital and green transition of tourism SMEs, centered around Innovation. These solutions focus on business development, intellectual property protection, sustainability initiatives such as renewable energy, waste management, and promoting sustainable mobility. Additional efforts include enhancing digital infrastructure, fostering skills through training, improving digital marketing, and encouraging eco-friendly practices.
The selected SMEs will be contacted by the fuTOURiSME Consortium shortly. The project implementation is expected to start from the 1st of April, 2o25.
