KiNNO INNOVATION INTERMEDIARIES actively supports the just energy transition in Greece

KiNNO INNOVATION INTERMEDIARIES actively supports the just energy transition across Greece through its participation in two projects related to the just energy transition and capacity building of the local communities affected.

🔹COALition Hubs is a European project (CSA), which is implemented in the region of Western Macedonia, Greece. COALition Hubs intends to strengthen the regional innovation ecosystems in coal-dependent areas through the creation of regional excellence hubs and the definition of a joint strategic agenda for sustainable energy to facilitate their transition in a just and inclusive manner.

KiNNO INNOVATION INTERMEDIARIES as a key partner of the COALition Hubs Greek innovation ecosystem, supports fostering the development of linkages among the stakeholders and promoting their innovation journey towards the just energy transition.

🔹 On the other hand, ΕΥΔΑΜ is a national project, which is funded by GSRI in the context of implementation of the Just Developmental Transition Program. The sub-project of ΕΥΔΑΜ, in which KiNNO INNOVATION INTERMEDIARIES participates, is implemented in the region of Megalopoli, Arkadia (Peloponnese), Greece. The core activities of the present project are related to the provision of specific services for the development and operation of a Co-Working space. The scope of Co-Working Space is to enhance the innovation, entrepreneurship and digital capacities, as well as the soft skills of the local and regional labor market and to provide the beneficiaries the appropriate knowledge, tools and methodologies, so they can smoothly proceed to the new transition era through a just transition energy.
