CHOICE PLUS – Open Innovation Cooperation for the Circular Economy

The project aims to strengthen the “Environment & Sustainable Development – Climate Change” priority in the food value chain by promoting a Circular Economy. It focuses on extending product life cycles, maximizing value, and reusing materials. The project supports industrial research to develop new circular economy products, processes, and services, fosters open innovation, and creates business development roadmaps for scaling production and sales. The partnership includes a diverse range of businesses from food processing, packaging, logistics, and waste treatment, with partners from various regions of Greece, including large, medium, small, and start-up companies.

KiNNO responsibility:

  • Business Models & Plans: Developing business models for the entire value chain of the food sector in the circular economy.
  • Market & Competition Analysis: Conducting market analysis and identifying potential customers/users of the cluster’s products and processes.
  • Technology Transfer Methodology: Developing performance indicators to evaluate the techno-economic aspects of CHOICE+.
  • Policy Recommendations: Proposing legislative changes to support the circular economy.
