The project focuses on the commercialization of a groundbreaking, cost-effective method for creating tailor-made superhydrophobic surfaces with precise control over their wettability. This innovative process allows for the fabrication of water-repellent polymer surfaces in various shapes, offering high spatial resolution without the need for additional hydrophobization coatings. The technology is particularly suited for applications such as microfluidic chips, fog harvesting, and low-flow friction surfaces. The project aims to demonstrate the capabilities of this technology, secure intellectual property rights, and determine the optimal commercialization strategy to bring it to market.
