MED / PROteuS – Promoting security and safety by creating a MED cluster on Maritime Surveillance

The project aims to establish a transnational Green Shipbuilding Cluster in the Adriatic-Ionian region to address the decline in demand for shipbuilding due to competition from emerging countries. NEORION will promote cooperation among key industry stakeholders and foster innovation, focusing on technologies for offshore wind, ocean energy, new materials, and specialized vessels. The project brings together partners from Greece, Italy, Croatia, and Slovenia, strengthening their capacity for transnational collaboration and supporting the diversification of the shipbuilding industry.
