The project focuses on developing a robotic welding system to automate custom tasks in dynamic environments like shipbuilding and repair. The system ensures high-quality, safe welding while allowing technicians to monitor processes and input custom welding trajectories. IKH’s solution enhances efficiency, safety, and quality, catering to industries such as maritime construction and maintenance. Efforts are underway to commercialize the technology by increasing the Technology Readiness Level (TRL) to ensure robustness, scalability, and broad industry adoption across maritime and other sectors.

KiNNO responsibility:

  • Economic Feasibility Studies: Assessing the viability, market potential, cost structures, and return on investment of IKH’s robotic welding system.
  • Business Models & Plans: Developing comprehensive business and financial plans, outlining growth strategies, revenue models, funding needs, and financial projections to support the commercialization of the technology.
